Archie Hamilton To Race Aston Martin In Le Mans 24 Hours Support

Archie Hamilton will drive in the Aston Martin Racing Festival 2012 race supporting the Le Mans 24 Hours on 16thJune. He will compete in the Gulf Racing GT2 car alongside Roald Goethe who will drive the Gulf racing GT1 car. The Aston Martin exclusive race will take place before the start of the main endurance event with practice and qualifying sessions in the preceding days.Archie and Roald have already driven together this year, in the Dunlop 24 Hour Dubai 2012 in a Lamborghini.

Further plans for Archie’s 2012 season are due to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Archie Hamilton:
“I’m very grateful to Roald for the opportunity to take part in such a great event in a fantastic car. I raced at Le Mans in the Porsche support race in 2010 so I’m very excited to be back. My goal is to race in the main event in 2013 which will be the 60thanniversary of my grandfather’s win, and this race is the best preparation possible.”
